Project Overview

This solo project was part of a module at Uni where we had to breakdown a story that we had written down to its basics. In this module I gained a wide experience in storytelling, dialogue, and camera shots. This module then gave me the confidence to write stories and dialogues for games.

 

Code Blackbeak is therefore a recent story for the game that I am writing and producing at University and hopefully.

Story Overview 

​

Celeste lives a normal life with her parents and her twin siblings in the Kingdom of Aquaria, until one fine day her siblings go missing playing too close to the forbidden forest. Celeste takes it upon herself to rescue her siblings before the forest turns on her.

The Dreamer & The Dream

​

The witch of Cygna lies asleep in her bed chamber. She twists & turns and mumbles something in her sleep. The same dream haunts her nearly every day. She stands before a forest facing a dark creature. “I won’t do what you ask of me, you vile creature.” Fiona yells. “Alas, you leave me no choice, I have asked you politely, kindly, but you refuse to do as I say”. The creature then shines its red eyes at her. She stops resisting. A hand as black as obsidian protrudes from the shadow and hands her seeds. This time the creature had enough of her, “You will listen to me, Fiona of Cygna for I shall once more walk this Earth and rule its inhabitants and will make it possible.” Fiona nodded her eyes turned RED. But her mind was fighting the urge. She could do nothing but follow it orders. Back in her room she woke up with her fist clenched shut. She walked down a quiet corridor past the soldiers who stood guard and walked quietly into the garden where she planted those seeds in the garden and walked back to her chambers and went back to sleep. The destruction was here, and Fiona lost her battle with it.
